New bets occurred..
Total agree bets: 1.25
Total disagree bets: 0.50

About 15 hours left for place your bets.

Is that just a ratio? I'm confused on how someone can enter a half of a disagree bet.

2 different forms of free-money: Freicoin (free of basic interest because it's perishable), Mutual credit (no interest because it's abundant)

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

With the rapid drop in BTC/USD it seems unlikely that the price of a LTC will drop below 0.003BTC before the 27th.

Every time I gamble I lose. Probably a good thing.

Yes. It's unlikely that the rate will fall under 0.003 in that time according to the increase within the last days. Back when 420 created the item it was very likely. I think I'll loose my BTC 0.1 but we never know ...

Next development steps to go (I'm working on the designs):
1. A decentralized cryptoexchange protocol
2. A cryptocoin with a fix USD/Coin rate

technically in 2012 litecoin was below 0.003 is there a stipulation that it has to be that under 0.003 at any point in history "before January 27th" or just in a 24hour - one month timegap it hits under 0.003.

i hate all these gambling things that leave soo many grey area's for people to abuse.

The bet starts from the.........start of the bet. Can't bet on something that already happened they'll reject your statement

anyway looks like a secondary bet is up same terms for feb 3:

I think the new item does not really make sense. The rate is very stable at about 0.0037 for a while now. Wouldn't it make more sense to set the rate in the bet a bit higher? Btw: Congratulations to all the winners.

will it hold over 0.003 this time?

at $0.065 USD bitcoin only needs to go to $21.66

usually the LTC/USD drops a little when bitcoin rallies hard

For the record, I doubt it will. With Bitcoin going up (due to lots of press, lots of interest) there is not reason why LTC would go up in relation to BTC, as there hasn't been any press- so it's basically still the same old crew of us speculators. :-)

more or less retired.
