It's very likely that this will happen. It may will be the case within the next hours already. The prize is already near that line and the value of btc (in usd) is going up and up. I'm the one with the 0.1 BTC bet for 'Agree'.

well ti's you or me msweb...the price may be close but it takes 351btc in one gulp to get us there thats over $6,000 maybe i shoulda just put the bet at LTC/USD...that's holding up  |

Looks like it's already there: https://ltcexchange.bitparking.com/mainSell price is already down to 0.0028 BTC/Ł. Buy is still at 0.00389 BTC/Ł, but it's not likely to stay there. If this keeps up, I'm switching back to mining Bitcoin directly. LOL I think the bet should have said that the btce.com rate of LTC/BTC should be the price used. It has the highest volume. Technically this bet is over if someone sold a few hundred LTC on one of the low volume exchanges. |

Your thread title should say BTC-E also. It is misleading. i assume anyone with a cerrebrum knows btc-e is the major LTC exchange. it has 36x the volume of the 2nd biggest |

Well, it's pretty easy for it to go one way or the other. It's possible someone made this bet because they have a bot running that will keep the price of LTC above 0.003 because they want to buy a bunch, plus reap the benefits of winning this bet. Most people should be intelligent enough not to touch this with a ten foot pole.

It's possible someone made this bet because they have a bot running that will keep the price of LTC above 0.003 because they want to buy a bunch, plus reap the benefits of winning this bet. Most people should be intelligent enough not to touch this with a ten foot pole.

Someone was manipulating the currency this morning with 12,500 BTC. He keeps popping in and out of the buy side, raising the price.
