PE investors don't deal with small new companies.. Angel investors typically only invest in companies with explosive growth potential (i.e. 1000x return). Could offer better advise if you supplied a little more information (i.e. what your business is).

The profit is very good in this business, as long as we stay busy, just depends on housing market's.
I own a Residential and Commerical painting business.
Esp, if someone was a LONG term investor/equity or however it goes.
I have a builder that builds 7+ custom homes a year, plus his other remodels, etc.
I also advertise and do smaller projects.
What i'm needing is a few pieces of equipment because renting just one piece is pretty expensive. (8-1100 per week) when i need it.
So, a investor could see a decent profit.
The builders average home is 3,000 sq ft inside. So 3,000ftx$300=9,000 A job like that takes around 2 weeks and about 8-1000 in material.
Same goes for the outside. The outsides of his homes usually cost around 5-6,500 to paint. They usually take 1 week to paint (complete)
So the average home of his cost's roughly 15,000 for me to paint. The profit from the 15,000 is around 10,000 depending how many employee's i have at the project.
