i think it's no but the question is :
it's possible to prune the new blockchain in core 0.12 to work with armory?

No. Armory reads the block files in order to work and if you prune, then the block files are removed.

A pruned Core still has all headers and utxos. Have to amend the DB to function only off of that, which isn't a priority. You would lose the details of your transaction history regardless.
