It was a thriller and horror movie.
There was a small kid who saw a ghost that only can hurt you when you are in dark and the ghost also wore a mask too.
It was released in around year 2005(i think so) bcz I saw that movie when I was a child too.
Pretty scary though.

I am trying to remember that name of movie, but it is not coming to my mind.

nope brother, this was not that movie.
That was a horror movie and not crime related.
