Betcoin users Logins and Email addresses were compromised sometime around last New Years. Phishing attempts have been sent as recently as Feb. 24th, almost two months later.
The following emails were sent to an email address which was never used for any reason other than registering at Betcoin. Some were caught by spam filters. The emails with text in the body were addressed to the players login name. (In many cases, a Betcoin players login is different than their screen name. In more than one case, a player with a relatively private login was used in the email.)
Betcoin claimed they were not attacked and have yet to accept responsibility. ( If this surprises you, you probably haven't read
