Nice to see this....
/sarcasm off

And we have reached another stage in the most stupid idea of the year bought to you by bitcoin users.
So you want free money, free coins out of nowhere just because you hold a few...

Let's say everyone will store their coins in such a wallet.
Where would the coins for the interest payments come?
The only solution would be a fiat printing  bitcoin hard fork so we can all have unlimited shitcoins cause a coin that does not have a cap can't be called bitcoin.

Be careful what you wish for...as day by day I see BTC resembling more and more digital fiat.

Well, you can use freebitco.in as a wallet and it pays you interest provided that you maintain a balance of at least 30,000 satoshi. It is currently 4.08% yearly interest but they pay it daily at 0.0109589% per day and rounded down to the nearest satoshi.

It is a faucet, so maybe this would surprise some people, the same way as I was surprised when I first heard of it, but it can be used as a wallet and I use it as such nowadays.

(the poster above me is right)
My signature leads to their faucet and is a mining operation and provide 4% compounded daily for investing in them. They have been around, support all the forks AND have always paid out.

I don't think any wallet will pay you interest on keeping the BTC in their wallet. Instead, they might charge something to give you wallet service. You are not lending them BTC, You are just keeping it and you got all the rights to withdraw all BTC anytime.

No there is no wallet like this, but there was one but never ever put your coin on something like that, putting your money on a wallet like this will mean you are giving your wallet access to scammers. They will keep your money for a week or month then they will run away with everything they have collected, and they will use your investment as a proof that they are legit and can take money from other users.

Guys here, maybe you missed or don't care to read Don Pedro Dinero's post. As he said and I agree too, there is onr known wallet which pays you for holding money and that's freebitco.
It's a little different, you receive percent weekly but if you withdraw money everytime, if I amn't wrong you can't get % on whole deposit. I mean that you have to keep bitcoin weekly in order to get some percent from them. Better to read rules and you'll understand everything, it will take some time from me to explain everything.

I mean that you have to keep bitcoin weekly in order to get some percent from them. Better to read rules and you'll understand everything, it will take some time from me to explain everything.

Just to clarify a little detail, below is the quoted explanation from their site and I've bolded them for tl;dr case

You will get daily interest from freebitco, I can say that for sure as they have a table of detailed income from this interest, which include the date and amount received.

It's quite an old thread, so I am not sure if the OP even still visiting this thread or not, but a little advise that I should include (or rather a disclaimer that I didn't hold any responsibility if something wrong happen) to anyone that's interested on this, you have to use your own common sense when using this feature. I've been using freebitco for a long time and never had any issue with them, I am not against them at all, but if you want to deposited your money into their site for this feature, keep in mind that you didn't hold your private key and you can't control your balance in case something wrong happened one day. Never invest more than you can afford to lose.

Quote
Receive compounded daily interest on any balance that you hold in your FreeBitco.in account, without doing anything.

All you need to do is mantain a balance of at least 30,000 satoshi (0.0003 BTC) in your FreeBitco.in account and we shall pay you compounded interest on your full balance everyday. There is no lock-in period to earn interest (you start earning interest right from the first day!) and your balance can be withdrawn any time you wish. Treat your FreeBitco.in account like an instant-access savings account to hold your excess bitcoins and earn passive interest on your account balance everyday.

So far, I didn't hear about this type of passive wallet that can generate interest (except those ponzi and scam wallets)

If you really want to earn more BTC, maybe you can consider leasing your BTC to others (still, it's also a little bit risky too)

HOnestly speaking, there is no wallet as such that provided interest for keeping the coins as many as we can put. Still i suggest be aware of such people who inform that interest is being provided is scam or ponzi and be far away from them as they can make u loose u r money within no time. I suggest just buy bitcoins and hold them at good prices so that the upside can still benefit you more than providing interest in no time. Just follow the trend we will make money for sure in no time, have patience and best of luck to all of us.

Well their is no such wallet which pays you money for keeping your money in the wallet just like banks pay interest for keeping your money in it.
Also, as you have raised this question maybe someone will take idea from here and create one?
If this happens if their is any wallet which pays interest on keeping your Bitcoin in their wallet then I am afraid they are going to run with your money when there is enough users with enough Bitcoins in the wallet.

I also do not have any experience about such wallet where they pay interest for keeping bitcoin. In fact it is against our religion and is against our the law to take interest to keep money in banks or wallet and take interest on it.i In fact interest on anything is not allowed. So i never try to find such place where i can put my bitcoin and can get interest on it.

When we keep our money with banks they have us interest on our deposits because they lend the same money to others and ear interest there on.
As bitcoin is a decentralised digital currency it is not possible do function like bank.
However there  are websites like (https://www.coinstaker.com/bitcoin-finance/savings-account/)  and exchanges are also there like Bitfinex, coinLend, Magrn, Bter etc. which claims that they have bitcoin Savings account facility and they can have u interest on your bitcoins.
But reliability on  these sites is quiet risky.
Paying interest is not possible because Bitcoin's values are very unstable.
I think miners and faucets would be the best options.
