I read an article and found these companies, the number is monthly traffic according to similarweb.com. I'm assuming the larger sites are more popular.

But I just want to know the overall BEST one that people like, that have the best fees, most security, people feel they are safe, great reputation etc...

Thanks!

I myself personally use Coinbase. I have no issues with purchasing bitcoins after making a deposit. The one thing I don't like is I have to wait a few days if a make a deposit. Other than the three to four days of waiting time for my deposit to clear, I have no complaints. I also like Bitstamp to purchase bitcoins. Either Coinbase and Bitstamp are my favorite.

Try Circle,  they are excellent if you have a bank account to link to them. It's really easy to buy and sell bitcoins. Coinbase is not too bad either but they will close your account at the drop of a hat if you are involved in gambling.  Yobit is good to trade altcoins with.

I use Bitstamp as my main exchange for many years now, they have never disappointed me with anything. Other than that, you can give Kraken, BTC-E, Bitfinex also a try. Make sure you stick with the trusted/well established exchanges only. It can save you a lot headache in the future.

You can use coinbase or LocalBitcoins. Those are the two websites that I use. I get a low price but only buy from trusted sellers.

So far the most reliable to me is still Coinbase. It used to support paper wallet import but no longer doing that.

Coinbase is by far the most established and reliable online wallet + exchange. I would recommend you to use it as your first attempt.

However, generally, you should also learn more about cold storage using hardware or paper wallets. You shouldn't keep your coins in an exchange/online wallet for too long. Keep them in your offline wallets which you control the private keys.

It depends on the country you are from. In USA, I think Coinbase is best. you can do bank transfer easy. Bitstamp is a UK compnay, probably easier for folks from Europe. you can SERPA.
If you are from China, I am not sure which one is best, maybe bitfinex.

If you are based in Europe - Bitstamp and if you are located in the USA Coinbase is more suitable.

There are many websites that you can use to buy Bitcoin. Personally I use localbitcoins as it is cheap and trustworthy if you get a good seller.

Personally I use bitstamp for trading as it was the most popular and most recommended to me back when I was looking for an exchange. I use coinbase solely as  a bitcoin wallet (no tx fees yay!). Avoid cryptsy and bter - both have bad history

This depends on your geographical location, amount of trade and nature of transaction you want to make.

If trading is what you want, you may want to consider a Newbie friendly market first.

  • Coinbase
  • Localbitcoins

It doesn't need to be the most favorite, but the easiest platform that you can learn from. Once you get into it, it will be much easier for you to adopt to any platform for trading.

Money, money and more money!
