Helloes!
I have encountered a problem with my newely bought S5 unit.
it appears to have burnt 2 capacitators, one on each board, and i have ordered 5 new caps for replacement, exactly the same as the ones sitting there originally.
the question i have is what parts i can meassure for checking what else can be problematic, since my father is a electrician we can troubleshoot, meassure and check everything, if we know what we should check!
So any ideas on what we can meassure to understand if something else is wrong?
otherwise we will just replace the caps and plug it in and let it try hashing! Smiley

Bitmain hasnt been really that helpful in this matter, then only answer was to send the unit back to them, but nothing about cost or what they would do.

so if there is someone who has encountered the same problems, i would appreciate any help! Smiley

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

or if someone has their hands on a circuit diagram for the S5 unit, that would help too! Smiley
