Wait, so in a nutshell, kaselit is going to create a coin to mimic RaiBlocks? So the purpose of the tech behind the coin is going to be to block ads or provide microads? I'm kind of lost behind what the motive is behind creating a new coin, or how it has to do in similarities to what's being offered by RaiBlocks.

They will do an ICO so the new coin will be a lot different from raiblocks. raiblocks became a craze for some time because of the unique way of distribution through captcha solving. they could use exact or almost the same specifications regarding block time, consensus, etc. but the unique feature that made raiblock click will not be there.

Thats not what Im expecting, well I will expect that the coin that kaselit will develop will not go further because of the big changes he will do. The only thing people are so admire with rai is because of its distribution but if Kaselit were going to change it then it will not be as popular as rai. I am pretty sure of it.

if kaselit will reopen the faucet or create also a faucet same thing with Mrai distribution he might get the community supports as we all knew how easy we collect Mrai so if he really serious then he might not do any changes.

You're misleading, that's not what we're trying to say. What the community wants to mrai is the unique way of distribution if you will do the same thing just like in mrai and won't change anything you'll probably get many supporters here in community. People here in forum did not even told collin in that way. Collin got so many positive feedbacks.

I think Kaselit should have a pre ann about his coming coin first this Mrai thread and second he can give the full details about the coin that he is working because there will be no restriction on what he is going to post and also he'll also know who is for and against..

Hi, thank you for your reply. The main reason for the ICO is for ensure long term updates for the community that (i hope) will follow our project, this is the mainly reason.

If your main desire is to create a new ICO coin, then why do you need to fork Mrai. This has a long term development roadmap and dev got stuck at some point which could not be resolved in short time. There are lot of algos, blockchain systems to fork.

Because it represents a initial investment for us. And we need skilled developer, which want to be paid.

Right. I encourage you to come with your concept of a new coin. But reviving raiblocks at this stage needs lot of skilled developer's man power and cost you more eventually requires more time too.

Thanks afterall we got the pre announcement for the New Raiblock Coin. I also like the old Mrai but the fact is that the Dev has abandon the project and has no more interest in it.

Even if we believe that he is  stuck in his chain block and algorithm and working to sort out or maybe take a long leave or maybe abandon the project, he should have come online once and share the current situation but ignoring all his fans and not even bother to tell if he will continue or not is bad for the Dev and the coin itself.

This is a good move by doing this you are inviting the other community to participate in your project,holders of old Mrai are at lost at what they are going to do with their old mrai but with your new project they gain hope that all is not lost..

You hit the target,all of us are baffled he could have made money here,if he wants to continue and he lacks the funds to do so,he could just ask for donation,asking donation is ok for the development of the coin I saw this being done on other coins..
