so why not just close this section of the forum if it is a big deal instead of people abusing the trust system for other parts of the site.

Yeah, why not just close this sub forum?..
If this sub forum is getting toxic then just closed it...
The abused of trust rating here is also toxic...

This section of forum (I told that before) was created to clean-up from such garbage gambling section.

If this section will be removed gambling section will be full of garbage again.

Yeah that is one way to make the trust system even more useless then it is now  Roll Eyes

I think trust is only useful when you consider trading or lending with someone, but that is just me.

I want a red tag for posting here, would be fun

I got negative trust yesterday by some little self appointed cnut for investing/gambling MY OWN MONEY in a place of my own choice.
The fact that someone would come up the idea of giving negative trust about what he has nothing to do about is just awesome.

Bottom line is after a quick conversation with cyrus the mod of investor based games I have now learnt that, you don't have to have scammed anyone or stolen and so on.

To get neg trust someone simply has to act like an ass and decide without any other reason than he doesn't like in what forum you post or what you post or what you invest in.

The possibility to act in such a self righteous way is what needs to be curbed, not anything else.

I INVEST IN WHAT I WANT, IT'S MY MONEY!!

Who actually made this category Investor-based games?
Answers appreciated:

Most probably the forum owner, it was put here for a reason.
And that reason would be to play the games here, win or lose it is your choice.

You do not come here to get negative trust, whatever some other person thinks about it.

If it is against the rules to play here, (its not) then this category investor based games should never have been created in the first place.

And its gone.

Obviously it won't be deleted.

The problem is we now have a group of idiots who have taken it upon themselves to give participants
negative trust for participating in them.
By doing this they have nullified the value of the trust system.
It is also according to me nothing short of blackmail and an attempt to control what you do with you own money.

I have started to give all these mini police negative trust already, I mean they started it I never got personal before someone
decided he knew better what I should do with my money.

Gambling is legal so is the participation in Ponzi's and HYIP's, and the forum is here, so why should I not be allowed to post in it??

Anyway, if we let them get away with their powertripping now, whats next? getting negative trust for posting a question in a coin thread because you would be endorsing what they believe to be a scam 'dev'?

I obviously will not support a bunch of scammers because it is a violation and also harm other people,
because their money is taken by scammers!

THere should be a clear rules on trust rating, when to give a positve/negative points, and strict rules on posting ponzi on this folders., In other forums where i am also a members, there are also a scam police on the HYIP sections, theres always a minority on every place. and definitely cannot live together in a nice civilize manner
