I don't think that people should be concerned about XRP price.
Historically, XRP has a more extreme price variation than other coins, partly because of the South Korea effect and the kimchi premium.
There can be good news after good news, loads and loads of it, breaking stories of pilot programmes and new partners every week - and the price remains unmoved.
And then suddenly it will rise almost vertically, going x5 or x10 in a matter of days.
What happens with every coin that rises rapidly is that it always always overshoots, and pulls back to a lower price point before stabilising. This effect is more extreme with XRP because it rises so quickly. It means that XRP then falls rapidly, and generally overshoots again to a price point that is lower than it should be. People are then reluctant to buy more XRP even with good news, because they've seen how volatile it can be, and how quickly it can drop.
Basically it boils down to do you believe in the long-term value of XRP? If yes, then nothing to worry about. If you're playing the markets, then the trick is to learn when XRP has peaked. Generally it is better I think to sell just after the peak, once you can clearly identify it (although the conventional wisdom is to sell when green).
I don't know what else I can add to this. Very correct say. The terrible thing for XRP was that its price dropped down below $1 and this was hard for the long term investors and holders. It stuck there, it seems. Can't go up easily. |

Correction back to 0.2 USD could be very interesting market move.
But it wont happen if recent news will find a confirmation in the meaning of successful implementation of technology. All of the recent announcements/rumors (MoneyGram, SBI, Santander, American Express etc) had no crucial impact on the XRP price.
But I would bet that "correction" to 0.2 will make people buy XRP like a hot cakes.

XRP could be 0.5$ soon then it might be back to 3$ in next few weeks or couple of month . we already saw some great move of Ripple and We could expect more in future so do not disappoint keep Hold XRP and Hodl

I was buying @0.18-0.22 and have ~37% of my portfolio in XRP. Previously it was ~80% but i have sold half at good prices, fixed profit and invested into some other coins. Remaining XRP are untouchable. |

Ripple is becoming more and more popular with aggressive cooperation with banks. That increases the ripple's value. But basically the ripple was technically perfect. It gives extremely fast and reliable delivery rates. A crypto currency that wants to add value needs more worthwhile upgrades. ripple just a lot of cooperation. By the way, I want to ask the offline download of Ripple wallet?

Did I said that its going to happen or that I'm waiting for it? I just said that it could be interesting, and IF it happen - I would by a lot more without any hesitations. I was buying @0.18-0.22 and have ~37% of my portfolio in XRP. Previously it was ~80% but i have sold half at good prices, fixed profit and invested into some other coins. Remaining XRP are untouchable. Interesting, I went similar route, only it was about 60% of my portfolio when it was ATH |

I hope that I hope you're right. I too bought ripples at like 20 cents. To me it's a miracle it reached that crazy ATH, it's not worth that IMHO. Sadly Bitstamp was holding mine and prevented me from selling them. I sold the ones that weren't locked at $2.5 and I think I made a good deal. I just.. don't see why banks would need it.. I don't believe in all that marketing bs, and I believe it went up artificially. But hey again, my wallet hopes I'm wrong & you're right. |

I have sold some of mine already last month when its price was still $2.50 which I got back my capital for this investment and some profit. I saw the price even drop to 0.90 so its no surprise to see it goes down that low too. |

Ripple fell seriously. Bitcoin is a little collective. I think Ripple is going to be fast for $ 1. But do you see much higher prices? I do not think so. Realistic goals need to be put.

So now I have same XRP, with some added ETH and LTC Where you see my mistake? |

The fact that ripple lost so much value is one of the brightest things for our community during these loooong dark days. I hope all banks lose money here and leave our territory. That scam centralized coin must be out of our world.
I don't think there are banks who already sold at a lower price, what they would do however is to buy more now that they knew all can be manipulated by dip of price and simple fud. If anyone is going to be millionaire soon, those are the ones that will hold for they know they don't lose money when they do. |

Despite I really love ripple, I hate to see that its price evolution follows exactly the bitcoin and as well for all the other altcoins. I could increase my xrp holdings nicely and still believe this coin is the most valuable one in terms of utility! However it seems that btc will remain as the „gold standard“ for quite a while and I ask myself what it needs for xrp to overcome.. just top of the crypto world? Is this it?
