Technically Bitcoin is a fork and Bitcoin Cash is the original blockchain. When the hard fork occurred, people had access to the same amount of coins on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.- NIST

Ripple supporters are expecting a massive incline for XRP because of the swell event, to everyone’s surprise the market decline fee hours before the event begins. Are we expecting any incline caused by the event? Its now the day two of swell and price continues to drop.

Looking for a summary of the SWELL Conference + the latest news about XRP? I've got you covered! SWELL was a tour-d-force for Ripple; you won't want to miss my TL:DR breakdowns of each session in this blog. I provided my own personal take on each of the sessions, including the "800 Pound Gorilla" panel discussion at the end. This latest blog also covers the latest news in crypto, and Ripple & XRP as well, including what to expect from the Malta conference, and news that SmartStream piloted Ripple tech. Coinswitch adds a custom crypto switch page for XRP fans, and Bitrue announces their new mobile application. I hope you enjoy the read! Petition to make XRP the official currency at the 2020 Olympic Games... yeah... a bit far fetched! https://www.leaprate.com/cryptocurrency/digital-currency/this-cryptocurrency-can-be-the-official-currency-at-the-2020-olympic-games/It would make sense for the reasons provided in the above article to have an official cryptocoin for purchases on every shop around the area, this would make things easier for everyone... for some tourists who own the coin they would skip the lines to exchange their money to Yen (probably in a bad rate) and people who would use fiat would at least wait in shorter lines. But I think exchange of $, € and other fiat to Yen is something that would benefit Japan. Not sure if it makes any difference to their economy, but if it does then they wouldn't support any cryptocurrency.

Sports seem to be getting on the crypto bandwagon as quick as they can, and because most of them don't really understand the difference between a true crypto project and a centralized entity like Ripple, they will actually think it's a good partnership to be associated with a big token that has many banking partnerships. Will that make XRP rise in price? Probably not.

This will only mean ripple is making its presence anywhere in the world, not just bitcoin or ethereum but it is xrp which is making waves despite a bear market. I admit I am not a ripple supporter but I have huge investment so I hope and expect to get better returns.

"Will the promotion from the biggest, worldwide sports event add credibility to Ripple and will the demand from tourists who prefer to pay less fees increase the XRP's price? Probably not"Are you serious?!?! And I'll pretend I didn't notice the comment about a true crypto project... who decides the rules a project must follow to be considered true?

I thought FIFA Wold Cup is the biggest sporting event? It's like near to impossible making XRP an official currency in 2020 Olympics but if it suddenly happens then it probably makes XRP worth a trillion in capitalization.

I wouldn't know, I only watch e-sports tbh! I just though Olympics are widely accepted as the biggest event.

Its likely to happen in my opinion. Whoever decides which digital currency would be official I think will have to look at the background of each curreny and if they find out Bill Clinton had once promoted this XRP, I guess the trust belongs to it. The appearance of Bill Clinton to the conference is disappointing by the way/. Looks like he gets paid way too high to speak too little about cryptocurrencies.

This coin is the best today, but in my opinion, in the distant future holding the ripple is one of the best options for us. So I think if holding XRP is one of the best options

If last month decision to buy XRP was a great choice, in almost two weeks the price of ripple continuously increased and some times the market capitalization of XRP was higher than ETH. This is a sign that XRP is quite potential.

Basically I think people have to care about project adoption news and regulatory updates first. Some kind of pumping is not important in long term perspective. I saw news about XRP and Japanese banks cooperation. Guess it is much more important thing ))

definitely best time to buy XRP, ETH,BTC & other hidden GEM at cheap price. Very soon crypto will reach the sky and ripple right now at very low price so holding and buying is the best option right now.
