pictures of miner -click to open-Miner has the original firmware, which requires the use of the manual fan setting.
The miner is a batch 3 unit rated for 4.86 by Bitmain @ freq 600. I run it at freq 625 and it averages 4.9 on slush using ~1230 watts.
I run this miner on an EVGA 1600 T2 with 120v; I have never tested it with 208v, 220v or 240v so I am not sure if it would perform the same with those voltages or with another PSU.
With these early batches ( at least with 120v power) they have less errors ( and thus a higher hashrate ) when you run them slightly hotter with a lower fan percent. In my experience these run best at ~62C.
With a 70 degree F ambient I run at 30% fan. (40% with a higher ambient)
When the miner first starts it will have a high error %; this will go down over time. Soft restarting (by clicking the Save&Apply button in Miner Configuration) will remove those start up errors from miner status; but this is purely cosmetic. The error rate will go down over time regardless.
You MUST only use 1x PSU per hashblade. Bitmain has made it clear that damage is likely if you fail to do so.
You MUST use 3x pcie per hashboard ( not worth the risk, just order some splitters off amazon if you don't have enough pcie)
You MUST power on all hashboards before the controller (if only using one PSU you avoid this problem)
miner requires 10x pcie connectors
If you need a PSU I can also sell an EVGA 1600 T2 PSU for 0.82
