I will recommend starting a faucet if you have enough Bitcoin to do that , you should invest into a programmer/designer to make a good looking website that doesn't use Faucetbox or any other third party and pay users directly , that should bring traffic to your website (and the rates have to be good too) and you will be earning by the Ads .
Running a faucet shouldn't have much risks if you know what you are doing and you are doing it right .

I'm not sure mate , I mean if you are willing to built the website yourself then you will only need money for FAUCET,Domain name & Hosting .
If you are willing to ask a programmer for that then It could cost you some decent amount (check the services section and ask about this job to know the prices from people who are willing to do this for you)

I thought running a faucet was not very good anymore?  I notice a lot of faucets are not even good anymore.  When I first started and Bitcoin was worth twice the value faucets were giving out more money than now.  I could be wrong but I was under the impression the best way to invest is to trade, and trading is basically gambling so there aren't really any good investments out there

I would not even consider "investing" unless:

The business is registered and licensed to operate in my country.
The business has a formal written business plan that spells out the exact terms.
The contract is notarized.

If these things are not in place then you are not really investing. You are simply handing over money to people who have no obligation to do anything. They may be legit, but if not then you have lost your money and there is almost zero chance of doing anything about it.

You need shitload of money probably to do that , people are not going to start depositing money into your casino unless they know you have the funds but since you considered making a faucet , I don't think you have enough money to make a casino .
Casino need to be well programmed as-well and made by trusted people otherwise developer may leave a backdoor in your website , get paid then comeback later to steal your bitcoins , It's really not that easy . (don't even think on using Open-Source casinos)

You also need to study what site that you are going to build mate, needs a lots of study and also funds because of many competition site building would be too risky, I'm planning to build my own faucet, keep checking from the service section for a cheaper price maybe you can also try to visit the service section and keep on track with the service offer. good luck mate.

I think invest in loans is quite good, if you really choose someone reliable. like in this forum loans with collateral or on other sites such as btcjam or loanbase. then buy and then hold for many years are also not a good way if you only save a small amount. at least you dare to save 50 BTC or more to hold for many years.

This is the wrong section for this thread but let me give you some advice.

Bitcoin IS your investment. Too many people have been stung by bogus investment schemes. Save some bitcoin in a wallet & keep it there like a savings account until a later date. Maybe even a number of years, the price will rise & you will make profits.

Giving or putting your money to someone elses hands has it's risk. I will not suggest you to invest in ponzis as they holds more risk because eventually they will just run off with your coins. An option here is you can invest your btc to gambling sites like bitvest which allows investments. You will get a % from their profit in their gambling game. This also has a risk as the profit will depend if someone looses tons of coins then you will get a share of profit, if someone wins more then the profit you guys will get will be more smaller.
What I can suggest you is just keep your btc safe in your wallet and then wait for the price to rise up so that you can wt profit. Take it as an invetment bu the one who holds your coins is you.
