Yeah, 1000 bitcoin is so big amount of money. i agree that someone is called a professional bitcoiner .

That will make a lot of us (those without 1000BTC) not professional bitcoiners, Which is okay since there's no real 'professional' in this space unless you're a trader. I'd rather name him an early adopter though because most who have that amount made it here before the 2013 boom.

i call such person a whale that has a lot of money and can have a big impact on bitcoin price

i don't think that we can assume 1000BTC as a whale anymore, it is a lot of money but in comparison with the bitcoin daily trade volume every 24 hours (which is 80,000BTC-100,000BTC by the way) it is a small amount, so the impact is not going to be that big anymore.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

The whale will loose this amount to bump some coins to earn 10000 BTC , i saw this in many coins in the previous two months so it is a good a mount for me to stay somehow in high level .
Till now i regret the time of 2009-2011 when btc is 1-10 $

A person who has 1000BTC should be called an investor becuse bitcoin is an investment itself so it should be called that way but thats just my preferred way of saying.

Then, how about the people who has less than 1000BTC?
ie. the people who has 500BTC, should we still call him an "investor"?

I myself have a trading history between 100 BTC and I did that for 5 years. Imagine I had to collect bitcoin up to 50 years to have a history of 1000 BTC. I think people who have bitcoin 1000 BTC. can be called more than professional bitcoiner

If the price goes to $2000 after halving, or later this year, they will be US dollar millionaire. So they are rich.

Woww $2000 for a single bitcoin....But i don't think this gona happen.
We should be realistic. Maybe it will reach up to 800 or 900 $. and a person with 1000BTC should be called
satoshian.

I think that when some one reach or get this amount of btc have a different approach:
1 sell all
2 storing
3 both

best approach is "investments"

Buy goods, house, start up or local store and try to grow!

Depends on the basis that you're using. 1.000 BTC is 1.000.000 mBTC and 1.000.000.000 bits. So the guy is either a millionaire in mBTC or a billionaire in bits.
End of subject.

That post made my day Cheesy

Well.. how should you call someone with 1000 btc?
How do you call someone with 100 kg of gold ? Just someone who has gold worth X Million dollar. Nothing special.

For me it depends on what method that someone used to get the 1000BTC, example:
If someone got 1000BTC in trading, gambling or just someone mistakenly transfer the BTC, then we can call that someone... LUCKY
If someone got 1000BTC in working or mining, then we call that someone... HARDWORKER

I think if you compare it with others that is the problem.
1000 BTC = $400k usd
there is nothing special with people who have the money $400k because there are many rich people in the world.
but I'm not sure there are many people who DARE to take risks by holding 1000 BTC in their wallets. its amazing you know ?

It is very special. I don't need to know the data to know that people holding $400k in the world are a small elite compared to the entire planet earth population. Most people have barely any savings, and a lot of people aren't even banked.

People that want to spend 400k on Bitcoin... even harder to find.
