transaction not confirmed since 24 hrs

Made this transaction yesterday using multibitHD wallet. Guess fees was low showing low priority. How long can it take? Can this tx be rejected?

Transaction won't be rejected .Though it has low priority,all you can do is wait and see if it gets conformed.Even if it fails try re broadcasting it again.If you want to know how to rebroadcast your transaction here is a good tutorial to do so https://blog.blockchain.com/2014/07/08/tutorial-how-to-rebroadcast-a-bitcoin-transaction/ Just don't re broadcast it now,wait for a  few more hours.

that transaction could be forgotten by the memory pool in about 2-3days time and your coins will be on your addresses again like nothing happened so when that happens try to pay with sufficient miners fee or maybe double it so you can get your transaction confirmed fast

Do you mean they'll be confirmed later even after 24 hours? isn't there a possibility that the coins will be sent back to the sender?

Yep & nope (possibilities, you know).

Yep, this possiblity has a higher chance(probability), I'd say(guess) 'coz they've not spent an enough fee for a 11000+Bytes(big) transaction.

"Reset Blockchain & transactions" there is no such tool.I am using multibit-HD

The equivalent to 'Reset blockchain and transactions' for MultiBit HD is Tools | Repair wallet

Its unconfirmed. The fee is horribly low. The chances that it gets confirmed are very low. Did you remove it from your wallet, yet?
