Hi. I was just in a chat where a url for testing purpose was exchange.

it looks like, CFTC is shutting down even bitfinex

They even have attached official papers !

Is this the end ?

CFTC jurisdiction is worldwide but they can only protect US residents / citizens. Meaning even if your exchange / trading platform is based offshore you cannot serve US residents / citizens.

Many other countries have the same regulations but they enforce them less strictly.
