Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Suicide hotline bro.

Or you could get in to ETH and still see 10-100x gains over the next year or two.

Roll Eyes

Investing is a game of odds.

Ethereum is great but the "risk vs potential reward" in Nxt is much better today.

In my video I go more in depth why.

Agreed,

I tried to open my NXT wallet and it keeps getting stuck at "loading resources".
I'm not a fan of the browser based NXT...

Yeah that's not user friendly made.

'Loading resources' I think means he is downloading the blockchain / validating past transactions. You also see the link 'open wallet' when you right click the icon but this will only be clickable once this is done, and this can take 1 day of waiting.

I just posted request to make the wallet more user friendly here: https://nxtforum.org/general-discussion/why-nxt-is-failing/msg211550/?topicseen#msg211550

Keep your head up Marc,  BitShares just went through the same shakeout when it forked it's radical 2.0 improvements.  Now, it has more speed, scalability, and anonymity than Ethereum ever will, and will be offering true (free) microtransactions like IOTA.

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,21747.msg283158.html#msg283158

Ethereum can't touch any of these features, and ETH is getting more bloated every day until it will eventually be forced to shard itself and do a radical 2.0 fork just like NXT is doing now if it wants to keep evolving.  You can't sell now, at the bottom, so just be glad you didn't invest in Mastercoin or Counterparty !

LOL suckers!

(that would have been like a double kick in the ballz)

Just think of how much more enjoyable your wallet will be after it goes through the upgrades.  Imagine all the cool shit that you will be able to do with it.  BTS 2.0 wallet was definitely worth the wait.  instantly send smartcoins anonymously, sweeeet.

Thanks banano!  Grin

Bitshares and Nxt seem to be the only one offering a unique blockchain in crypto 2.0, unlike counterparty and omni that are build on bitcoin blockchain.

Wish you good luck and thanks for sharing how it went in Bitshares  Smiley
