What does this X means ?

There is curently a good price on newegg.

Found difference between cards:

R9 280 is also known as 7950 hashing eth at about 22 MH/sec
R9 280x is also known as 7970 hashing eth at about 25 MH/sec

7970 ( 280x ) = 22 mh\s
7950 ( 280 ) = 20.5-21 mh\s

Your figure was right a few months ago. But since the DAG files has increased since. So the hash rate decreased.
