Very curious to hear from anyone who has tested the new marketplace. OpenBazaar and Syscoin decentralized marketplace are both coming this month. Very excited!

Syscoin 2.1 has been released and is basically a commercial quality decentralized marketplace software ready to go... give it a try.

OpenBazaar is better in my mind. Better design, concept and they got some major funding. First time heard about Syscoin, went on their website and did a bit of reading and no major features that OpenBazaar does not already have

Both are great projects.. conceptually syscoin is better because it is blockchain based while ob is p2p so not really a blockchain based project other than payment acceptance. Yes they have more funding but design and concept are better in Syscoin.

For example.. since ob doesnt have syscoins distributed ledger and database it cant relate historical sales with offers or escrow. So in court of law there is no way to prove what you bought and relate that to a concrete object that is backed by proof of work on the network.

Thats good for those who loves decentralisation. Unlike other marketplaces, theres no need for any identifications and other stuffs that are really annoying. I think it will be a hit marketplace in the future since not anyone wants their identity exposed.

You need identity.. both projects have them and are needed for feedback and auditing purposes.  Syscoins is native to the platform and offers multisig capability while ob uses third party idenity platform last i checked

For anon you can use zcash payments
