There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I've read that before. In my case it was because Blockchain.info doesn't see transactions with more than 250 outputs which are at the mempool so while the transaction is not confirmed you won't see it in your wallet. Try to find the transaction in a different page and see I it is not confirmed or if it just doesn't exist.

can someone tell me what this means?

It just means that blockchain.info is no longer storing the TX in question in their database.

this was a incoming transaction, and still has 0 conformations in my wallet, anyone know where it has gone?

Its still there, as long as there is no confirmed double spend.

EDIT - I have the same for a incoming transaction also, I have over half a coin tied up in these two transaction, and a little worried.

EDIT 2 - rescan did not clear anything. :-/

No rescan does not do anything here. Do you still have the transactions in your wallet? If so you can resend them (I assume core, because you said "rescan") with (Help -> Debug Window -> console):

getrawtransaction TXIDhere

It will return a long hex string, the transaction which you can resend with:

sendrawtransaction HEXstringHERE

Resending every ~30 minutes will make sure the network does not forget about the transaction. It might (depending on the fee paid and the TX size) be better to let the network forget and let it resend with a higher fee.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

thanks for info, one incoming has cleared, but the outgoing was to a coin payment service, and they cant send back until it has cleared.

this happened this morning.

the same transaction keeps trying to confirm, yes it was accidentally sent without tx fee, but now there are two tx/id.

What do I do? if I leave it, will it come back to me? I need it back to me in the long run, as I have paid what I wanted to by other means.

update - The network is not showing this transaction anymore, The above pic on blockchain.info does not show either now.

But it is still in my wallet with 0 confirms, Do I just wait to get it back now? or is it still in the background somewhere?

Its always better to post the Txid's so we can cross check with other networks.Blockchain.info doesn't necessarily cover up the transactions on all the networks.Maybe the transaction still exists on other network but only way to verify it if you post the Txid's.

Did you rebroadcast it? Would you prefer it to get returned to the sender (as in: forgotten by the network) or do you want it to confirm as is?

I do not know, I've never had problems like that, there may be a way to contact one of the operators of blockchain.info, if in a few days still 0 confirmation, perhaps BTC you send will not be back

I did rebroadcast yesterday but I would rather get it back now, yes it was sent with no fee (silly me) but sent 8 days ago now :-(

On an update note, it is showing up again on the blockchain :-/

If you want to have it back you first need to remove it from your wallet. From the TX ID (-000 at the end) you are using bitcoin core or one of its forks, so it should have zapwallettxes unless its an out of date version.

#1 close core
#2 make sure its closed
#3 start it with -zapwallettxes
#3.1 for linux/OSX you open a terminal and start bitcoin-cli with the added comman, usually a
Code:
bitcoin-cli -zapwallettxes

is enough, sometimes you have to give the full path.
#3.2 for windows you open "run" (win + r), enter c:\Program Files\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe -zapwallettxes and confirm with ok
#4 let core do its thing, depending on your system this can take a moment.
#5 wait at least 24 hours (up to 72h) before you recreate the TX with a fee. You need to give the network some time to forget, or nodes will consider the new transaction a double spend and reject it.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

Awesome shorena,

I have done that and it has taken off the transaction in my wallet, I will leave the wallet alone for a few days now.

I am guessing the transaction will fail and disappear from the network? (just worried about it disappearing in the future?)

Thanks for your help, I know it sounds weird coming from someone who was such an early adopter of the coin, but it has never come up before and I wanted to make sure of what was going on lol.

Since it pays no fee this is the most likely outcome, yes.

Thanks for your help, I know it sounds weird coming from someone who was such an early adopter of the coin, but it has never come up before and I wanted to make sure of what was going on lol.

Well the requirements changed over time and it has become very difficult to get a transaction without fee confirmed.

Looks like someone is rebroadcasting it. Did you create or receive it? Could it be the sender resending it in the hopes that it gets confirmed?

Hmm, it might be someone trolling you. The TX can be rebroadcasted by anyone that has it in its a raw format. How long did it take until the TX appeared again? Do you can have coin control enabled in core? Im thinking a double spend on one of the inputs[1] with a high fee might help.

[1] e.g. the one received on 1Cckp9QR3C13aUBipyU6YQnUNTHXxqFzU

about 6 hours, It seams to get a new date and time around 19:00 hours (UK time) daily.

sorry, what? I have QT 5.5.0

Quote
Im thinking a double spend on one of the inputs

I would appreciate any advice you think i should try, I would need some guidance just to make sure I am doing it right.

At time of writing it has a new time stamp of 2016-03-08 13:54:18 so yes, someone is doing it I feel.

This should give us enough time to double spend the coins.

QT just handles the GUI, you find your bitcoin core version via Help -> Debug Window -> Information or Help -> About Bitcoin Core

Anyway, with QT 5.5 you should have a more recent version that has coin control. Coin control allows you to manually select which inputs (formerly received coins) you spend. In order to double spend the TX you could e.g. spend all coins you received on 1Cckp9QR3C13aUBipyU6YQnUNTHXxqFzU (should be 0.06767325).

You enable coin control via:

Settings -> Options -> Wallet

It might ne a restart, dont know.

Now with coin control enabled:

#1 do the zapwallettxes routine again including step #4
#2 instead of step #5 create a TX once you are synced.
You will find a new button in the send tab called "Inputs..." click on it and it will open the inputs you can spend.
Select List mode, sort by addresses (or amount) and search for the 0.06767325 you received on 1Cckp9QR3C13aUBipyU6YQnUNTHXxqFzU.
Select it by clicking on the checkbox on the far left. It should be the only input for that address and have >1865 confirmations.
Close the window and confirm the selection with "ok"
Now create a TX as usual and send the coins to yourself. Make sure the fee is high enough (currentky ~44-48 satoshi per byte).
Alternativly select more inputs and create a TX you actually want to create, just make sure this input is also selected.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.
