this IP block problem is being really serious for some; that sucks;
i'm having a wimax & a dsl, a laptop on each connection, using trial hotspot shield,
i've never had an ip block problem that couldnt be solved with disconnecting and connecting hotspot shield a few times!
every now and then it happens that it will take a lot of reconnects for the ip block to solve; (yesterday took one of the laptops 45min to get back to work!)

(dont know whether its common knowledge; just sharing)
ever since version 3.4 op changed the tm site it loads with the app (lets call it new version)
there's an "(OLD)" version (its literally called that on the app) which loads the other page the app used to load before v.3.4
for me the old version works more than twice as fast the new version and works way more smoothly;
but the old version do not open a download link for updates every time op releases a new version;
you'll have to email him and ask for it!
try that; email and ask for it see if it'll help with the ip blocks!

Well that's true, earlier yesterday I also experienced that , It connects and sometimes not and the app would pop up a message, but after an hour, it was already fixed and I noticed that when I change location I never been disconnected til I'm done and tired and being paid.. 

I still prefer this new  latest version, the blocked IP was lessen this time and the error on recaptcha was also lessen... So most probably, the problem is on the internet connection, speed, and the server of the VPN that we are using...That is why we need to use VPN's with many server location..

earlier the same day i did 600 in 3.5 hours with v.4.0 (OLD)

emailed pc today see wether its possible for him to keep a number of latest versions of the app in service
so ppl can choose whichever app works best for them and work with that!

maybe my speed with 4.1 was due to my connection or the vpn servers or whatever else;
(still unresolvable ip blocks were kinnda worrisome!)
will test it again today once the us shift starts! see how it'll go;

Yeah, last day, the first hour was too slow...
Oh, is that true, we now have Saturday works? I tried it and it says I am outside working hours..But anyway, I too could make around 400 or less in 3 hours, but depending on my VPN, if it is as slow as a turtle, then IE would load very slow too..Not to mention that my computer is not high end and my internet speed is just 2 mbps...

Actually I have no experience on the previous versions, as that time I was doing my best to resolve those ip blocking by TM...But for now, I am not having a problem anymore, except for the slow VPN...

Minimum payment is 7$ which means 700 captchas. On a decent day I average 100 captcha per hour with help of VPN. Which means 7$ will tak atleast 7 hrs.

you sure about those numbers? on a decent day i average around 200 an hour!
my connection is nth special a 2mb regular landline dsl!
and since i don't have premium vpn, i'm using the new slower peerchecker client (v4.2_B) which has less ip blocks (apparently);

rickbig41 was saying tunnelbear works best for him; it doesn't for me; its slow and has constant ip blocks;
i'm getting better results with hotspot shield trial;
what i'm saying is, maybe you should try a couple of vpns see if your speed improves!

yes we do it's been a couple of weeks now; saturday and sunday;
all i know is pc emailed and asked whether i wanted to work weekends;
i said yes and he sent me a link; its just like the regular app i had; assumed everyone's having the same version;
