@ CreativeX:

The reason why e-mail is not possible is REALLY easy understanble:

Hundreds of spam mails
Thousands of trials to reach them

The result: COmplete refund action where no communication is needed, so the amount of work for refund shall be low!

Communication is absolutely vital here. Simply changing order status without updating customers is bad mojo in this toxic environment. Instead of wasting time typing stuff to a handful of customers in IRC, type it in a mass email and/or forum post. While this:

Confirmed.  I will see to it that all refunds are processed.

...is better than nothing, it lacks specificity utterly. It's precisely this kind of generic posts that created the tidal wave of refunds.

Any positive sightings of Bitcoin refunds? I'm holding on to faith that those of us who have put our trust fully in this new currency by attempting to purchase mining equipment with Bitcoin (thereby completing a theoretical loop) will not be left in the cold.

  Huh

I have reputable information that first all CC Refunds will be taken and after that the Bitcoin ones! The problem is that the bank for cc refunds does have not enough money, so the problem is TOM needs to provide more money, atm we don't have any sign how much money will be provided for the cc refunds, the btc ones need to wait!
Source?

Last written in IRC yesterday from Dave directly, that he is working first on CC refunds and after that on BTC refunds!
Yeah, I know that. I was talking about your claim that the credit card merchant account does not have enough money. I don't recall Dave saying that any time recently.

He was assuming this! Dave said that!
Who was assuming that? You're the one that said it. Tongue

I said that Dave assumes that there is not enough money, because Dave said that they already tried to do cc refunds but there wasn't enough money!

Now we can say that Tom needs to put more money on the refund bank acc, so the cc refund people get their money!

Why are you quoting information that is over a week old as if it news information?

Well then, new information.

I've been focusing on refunding the CC orders in our system.  The main reason for doing them first is that its something I can directly do quickly to drastically reduce the number of people waiting for refunds.  There were far more CC orders than BTC orders also, so its the bulk of the work.  Today, I will finish refunding CC orders from both btcfpga.com and bitcoinasic.com.  I estimate that there are only about 140 CC orders left to refund.

I've got about 75 BTC orders that were already submitted for refunds, but need to be reconciled to see which were paid out.  Another 150 BTC orders yet to process for refund, which means tracking down a payment address, calculating the refund amount, etc.  This is a slower process.

Among those remaining orders are some that were paid via wire transfer, Google Wallet, Dwolla or some other method.  Those special cases will also be dealt with during the BTC refund work.

Whatever Tom was paying you Dave it likely wasn't enough. Though bad, this would have been a Halloween nightmare without your involvement.

Considering he was being paid BTC taken from the community to provide customer support to <possibly> scam us makes this statement interesting.

still waiting on CC refund for 2 weeks now DAVE, sent email and politely asked for a refund. Still nothing from Dave or Tom about status.  Some communication would be nice.
