Holy dog shitz, you're the guy with those crazy youtube videos.  Spreading all sorts of nonsense about bitcoin with those bug eyes.  You might want to get your thyroid checked.

Do you own any of these things, like ETH and whatnot?  Did you get burned on bitcoin at some point?

Sept 21st, 2016 is my bet.

Once ETH hits $1bn market cap it will hit mainstream news as the next big tech thing. People who left crypto in 2014/15 will all start piling in again. There will also be new members who heard about BTC who will try and make money in the new gold rush. Other cryptos may also rise as speculators join in.

Once ETH hits $1bn there will be a massive PUMP of the entire industry. Crypto 2.0 tech will rise rapidly in value and Jabba the Hut (jealous that his BTC is threatened) will declare war on the federation causing massive instability here on earth. Dogs will lie down with cats, lions will mate with gorillas, and the people of the earth will cry out to Yoda, Obi Wan Kenobi, and a reformed Darth Vader to save us. They will come, but not to save us. They will release a blockchain concept that will be the largest ICO in global corporate history. It will be a massive scam (yes, even bigger than maxcoin) and they will head back to the stars loaded with ETH, BTC and some hot DOGE.

BCT users will give them record-breaking negative trust ratings in retaliation.

I understand that ETH is getting high values on exchanges, but ETH has poor circulation and poor acceptance (yet)...

What a currency needs to get a REAL value is the acceptance... Ethereum has been supported by many cool guys, like Szabo, but like his BitGold, the idea didn't fit when it became true... The whole spctrum behind ETH and the blockchain/smart contracts that it's involves is so new that it make eery prediction a shot in the dark... The Ethereum community is full of programmers and (really) full of people who doesn't appear in this forum, because it is more like a development tool for a new moment in altcoins time than a speculation tool for those who are trading BTC to ETH or the opposite way.

In my opinion, since 2014 (at least) there wasn't a currency so powerfull like ETH.... I don't remember if LTC hit U$10 like ETH. And the "universe" that ETH could expand is so huge that it is unimaginable...

I believe that after the bitcoin halving, a lot of people will get frustrated with BTC price and will start cashing out of BTC and investing in ETH. After the halving, there will be nothing more to hope for in bitcoin in terms of price.

Start cashing into Bitcoin because why?  I just don't see why people would want to invest into something like ETH except wanting to support a decentralized "internet", rather than investing in cumulating an actual currency.

Ahhh, I wish I had bought ETH when it was 0.006, I place an order and it was not filled. I was the best bid.
I admit it is painful to see it going and going. Now I will have to turn off monitor and forget about it.

The attitude of some BTC-hardliners towards ETH is truly fascinating from a view on human behaviour and thinking in limited, already known boxes. The use of old-school uses like "premine", which simply do not fit and are of no worth in context with ETH and the technology as the potential behind it. It will be some kind irony that BTC-hardliners will miss to enter ETH as early adopters, although they should know better, but most of them are trapped in the crypto world of 2010-2013. They will fail to adopt to ETH like FIAT lovers did with BTC back in time.

I say BTC-hardliners, not big holders, as those are probably smart enough to diversify their risk by going into ETH.

ETH has now 10x the value it had at the beginning of the year and still we hear the same mantra: "It is a pump, it is worth nothing, won`t displace BTC." The Ethereum Foundation is funded with millions and has nearly 100 developers. Vitalik Buteryn has been speaking in front of the EU parliament, in front of R3 and other big companies from the finance sector. Slock.it, one of the ETH startups has partnerships like the one with the energy giant RWE. Other Ethereum startups could disrupt Uber, the other one a heavy part of the music industry.

But yes old-schoolers, keep telling us about premined coinz and pumpz bros.

BTC has a history and a use case ether does not. Can the average person use ether? At the end of the day ether is just another altcoin, sooner or later it will fall just like paycoin,auroracoin,nxt.... I would put ether's true value at $0.50 to $1.
