I think everyone must be thinking the same thing. I actually ran this computation last night and almost started an identical thread. Came up with $12.90 as the Billion dollar number too.
And I agree with something someone else said recently. It was so simple, and powerful and eloquent, and I wish I could find it again, but in short it was simply a reminder of just how little $1 Billion dollars is in Fiat Money when considering the enormity of what is happening.
Honestly, I will be very very surprised if the total Crypto Space isn't valued at over $100 Billion by the end of the year. That is about a 10 fold increase, and I think the majority of that will be in Ethereum.
Think of it.... I know 100 Billion is a LOT of money, but when you honestly look at the global fiat marketcap, and you consider what is occuring, and how much change towards crypto currency is coming, you really start to realize how amazingly big this is going to be. And even $100 Billion doesn't seem so like so much.
I think in the last couple of days it has really sort of started to hit me what is going on here. I mean, I have been talking about it for awhile, but it just finally sort of sunk in - the reality of it. I am sort of frieked out. Humbled at being at the beginning of this.
I honestly can see the day where one person might work their whole lives and never own 100 Ethereum. Or 1000 XRP.
Maybe 10,000 Bitcoins.... but hell, who wants those! ROFL
Maybe Bitcoins will be the pennies of the future crypto world. people will just leave them lying around, and sometimes you won't even bother bending over to pick them up
hehehe
Sorry - couldn't resist. Poor bitcoin holders have missed a huge early move and you can see the frustration and fear over there. I really do think we may see a lot of the bitcoin money move even harder soon. Sad actually. Our first love turned out to be a corrupted whore.
