Ethereum Powered OS

Seeing how well Ethereum is doing in the last months, there is no doubt that it's capabilities could be expanded in order to make an operating system powered by Ethereum. After all, it is a decentralized platform for applications and it is often called the Ethereum World Computer.

If a decentralized operating system could be made from the Ethereum platform, things will get pretty interesting by then. Imagine an operating system with the ability to repair itself with the Ethereum network....

There are many possibilities and I think this could be a great idea. Don't you think?

Actually, I never thought that an ETH distro could exist. Thanks for sharing this. However, I am referring to an OS in which it could run sort of in the cloud (like Chrome OS) but in a different kind of way by using the ETH network.

If you are referring to the distro mentioned above, I highly doubt it since it is a command line OS rather than having a GUI (somebody correct me if I am wrong) Also, this distro was made specifically for mining ETH not for installing other apps into it (I think).

Thanks for sharing this OS mate. I was looking into buying ethOS until finally I saw this. I've heard that ethOS is a very good OS to use for mining ETH, but this one looks like it is worth the shot.

Now I'm looking towards making a solar powered mining rig to mine some ETH without the high energy costs.  I'm thinking of leaving the motherboard with the GPUs out in the open (without a case) for maximum cooling (as well as liquid cooling)
