I think the Ethereum crew needs to pull their finger out and fix this quickly. Its core value proposition is being discredited and that's costing Ether big-time. My sense is that it will eventually settle somewhere between $7 and $8.

I think the bitcoin price will rise a lot after the block size issue is resolved. But Ethereum is a different story.
That could be true. The Etherum developers have to do a lot of work to win the trust of the investor/users again. Also after they get back the Ethereum from the hacked DAO, they should hold them for the long term, and do not dump. I don't think this is the case. Why hold this asset, knowing at the very least it's going to be cheaper in the immediate future? Smart money says sell now, and rebuy in the dip. Also, we are not considering if a large dumping entity might possibly cause a panic. |

 Some are speculating that ETH withdrawls have halted because coinbase didn't prepare for this attack and their ETC has been drained. If so , very sloppy they didn't prepare for the HF and such hubris they assumed the other chain would just die. |

It just proves Coinbase was doing something fishy with the people's money. If they had a 1:1 ratio of ETH to ETH as they should, they should have simply paid.

Dont expect for ethereum they will dumping it and convert into ETC right now thats why the price of ETC rigth is increasingly fast.
They are also supporting it. ethereum has no chance to increase again because of DAO problem before..

It is too risky to convert your ETH in to ETC. When I mine the ETC, I will sell it or convert it to ETH as soon as I get the ETC. |
