29 hours ago I sent some BTCs to poloniex. Normally my wallet says view by 6 peers in no time, but yesterday it only was seen by 1 peer.

When I see the transaction in my wallet, it appears as view by 3 peers and the status is non confirmed. The fee was 0.0001 BTC. The blockchain.info and blockchain explorer says transaction not found...

Where is the trasaction? Will it come back to my wallet, or will it arrive to poloniex?, Do you have an idea of what has happen? It is possible that just dissapear in the hyperspace?. Thank you so much

Can you provide the txid?

The transaction may simply disappear, in which case the Bitcoin will simply appear to return to you as if you had never spent them.

Were you able to rebroadcast to the network?

Perhaps your fees paid are too low.

If you look at the wallet it was sent from does it show an "unconfirmed transaction"?

it'll either confirm or return to your wallet within 72 hours (unless you or someone else rebroadcast it frequently). no idea what caused it. no the bitcoins won't disappear.

can you post the tx ID? and what wallet are you using?

Im using multibit 0.5.16 (kind of old, I know I should update, but Im afraid somehow the BTCs get evaporated in the process Wink)

In fact I have downloaded the last electrum version and Im looking to generate a new seed/wallet and operate from there

Thank you all for the answers, the 72h one has sound me refreshing. It was a very decent amount (0,8BTC) to get lost

Can you post the raw transaction here? I don't see it in my node (not surprising). There are some instructions here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=161311.0.

I don't see it on blockr or blockchain.info, which means the coins should be back in your wallet as either the tx was dropped or it was never propagated, if you still don't see them in your wallet and if you have installed electrum then just export your keys from multibit and sweep the funds from it into electrum, the funds from that address will then be transferred to one of the addresses in your electrum wallet and you can spend them from there.

Old versions of MultiBit Classic attach too low a fee.
You need to be using the newest code.
As the transaction has been sent now you'll just have to wait.

Well, we could help a little by rebroadcasting it. Is there any way for OP the get the raw TX so they can post it here?

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

The latest code should rebroadcast unconfirmed txes at startup.
In MultiBit HD (but not Classic) we show the hex of the tx in the transaction details raw transactions panel, specifically to copy-pasta into something like blockchain.info/pushtx
