All of the questioning and sketchyness with Avalon could have been solved by doing what Ouya did. For those that don't know Ouya is an android video game console maker that was crowd funded by kickstarter.  There were a lot of questions and concerns about whether they would actually be able to ship, so they day they did ship they created an unboxing video detailing what you would recieve.  They made a pretty decent video, and there is no excuse why any company with a new product shouldn't do the same.

Hopefully BFL will take note of this and do something similar.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Yes, but this is still something they should do before shipping anything to people. Avalon should still do this.
