Hi,

I started studying Bitcoin around August/September 2012. Then, in October I've written a better FAQ to focus on things that I thought were more important for beginners.

I'm posting it here now because it turned out, I cannot post to the main discussion boards yet. So I guess I have to get some reputation first :-)

Here is the FAQ. Hope you will find it useful:

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Some follow-up to my FAQ: some common bullshit that people say when trying to explain or understand Bitcoin.

Mind if I use this on some of my own sites?

Interesting read. Reminds me of a particular anime about why currency will be digital and without government interference.

Why not. It would be nice if you put a link back to my page.
