Can ETH be mined from an Android device?

I know that you may not get an acceptable hashrate to mine some decent, but at least it would fun to watch the process and learn more about ETH mining. Do you think it could be possible to mine ETH with your Android device? Perhaps, it could use the internal GPU to mine bits of ETH?

nope sry, eth needs the gpu to have at least 2GB of ram to allocate the DAG
and the arm cpu in a phone would prolly have a very hard time keeping the miner hashing as it would easily be at 100% load
if u do in the future mine anything with ur phone i wouldnt do it 24/7
my phone cost over $400 and mining on it would prolly kill it in months
not to mention u prolly would barely clear $.01-.02 a day

The DAG will use some of the memories. The power consumption will also be too big for the mining to worth it.

Thanks for your reply. I thought that might happen, but I would just do it a little while to test it into my Android device. Maybe in the future, android devices will have powerful GPUs to be able to accomplish this task. In the meantime, I will just setup an ETH mining rig and SSH to it from within my phone.
