Yeah probably true.. halving could make a difference in the price, and the growing users too, but I think some of this new users are just into selling bitcoin over again..and probably we could reach $700 but not for a long time, as many users would probably sell their coins when the price is high..

Never say never but if bitcoin price will not be $700 by the end of the year then it probably will be at the Q1 - Q2 of the next year 2017

If we somehow do reach the $700 price level this year, then it can be seen as an early Christmas present. For that to happen we need something huge to drive the price towards that level. I don't think only the block halving is enough to reach it. If after the block halving the block size is increased to 2MB, then the chances of seeing $700 will increase significantly.

Nothing is even close to guaranteed in investments, much less Crypto currency.  There is no pricing trend in the past few years that shows we will always go up from any given point, much less one like where we are now that is relatively high.

IMO the halving pump is very likely to already be in action and we may not see much of a price increase.
