Coin of the year!

That's awesome lol.

Yes I see a surprisingly bright future for Pepe now, happy to be on board.

Doge is dead (well it was already dead awhile, we all knew that).  Pepe is the new defacto memecoin for 2016 and beyond.

That's what I'm saying.  I kind of dig the meme coin thing, but it sure would be nice to have one that actually has some use.  Seems like Pepe could be that alt.  Can't wait to know more.

6.6 million according to C-Cex stats on the trade page.

EDITED: As kahir stated, a better block explorer is definitely needed if Pepe wants to be taken seriously as an alt.

I was trying to mine this coin, but I got stuck.
I have a XFX Radeon hd 7770 and I just cant get the pools to work.
Is it still possible with my videocard to solomine this coin?
Or should I just try to connect to a pool?
But what program and command should I use to Mine pepe?

What pool are you trying. For some reason I can't connect to IPOminer, yet people are connected. But I can connect to suchpool.

No air drop? I don't PoW mine anymore so I hate these short term PoW coins. I think this coin would have had more success if they did an air drop.

Of course miners are going to hate on air drops but they are the new cool thing.

I had to actually go and buy some of these coins! Why can't i just get free coins for nothing...

Not sure if you're trolling, but if you are great troll! We have observed the recent wave of airdrop coins. We found that this model lacked the transparency of what we have here. In an airdrop, nothing stops the dev from just "airdropping" tons of coins to an address that they control. We chose the premine so that we could be certain we will have the funds available to cover the costs of additional features and events. Some may disagree but at least we can finance our project.

Has anyone thought of doing any marketing for Pepe yet?

Like reaching out to Matt Furie - the original Pepe creator and cartoonist? He may accept the coin for his web store?? He may agree to create limited edition pieces or promote Pepecoin within his work.

If you guys want this coin to be big, you really need to think big marketing to make this a fun, cool, viral project.

Even though mature, well developed coins are making leaps in real life applications, there is always demand for fun meme coins.

Who wants to start something here and contribute to promoting these ideas?

 Shocked

The tendies fund is for this purpose, once the coin has an acceptable value and liquidity we will be contacting Matt directly. We of course have lot of ground level stuff that needs to be accomplished prior to that stage. We're most excited for this however.

 Huh

Why wait? Whats the fun in that?

No point having a meme coin if your just going to focus on hoping the value and liquidity rises by itself.

Get your early adopters on here spread the memes.

Presentation is important, we at least want the groundwork laid to accept the communities arrival. We want to have some great stuff here for them when they take a look. We will be rolling out a fairly large community focused update over the next couple of days. We're patiently awaiting our addition to bittrex so the in wallet trading application switches online, and we're in the testing phase of one of our pieces of technology.

Thanks,

PepeTeam
