Hey there,

I was in on this project at the start but put in my fire & forget draw. Was pretty messy for the first few months. Would be nice if this project could be used for something more than 1 or 2 peoples personnel supply, the original dev was a bit of a dubious character i think but had some decent ideas and ability. I wish you luck Smiley

If you do find a use for the coin and want a hand with marketing, PR or pushing on exchanges feel free to let me know, i am also interested in improving my coding but still maybe a bit new to this to offer too much help.

Dekim

ps. I think any future community would benefit from a quick guide to setting up wallet, miner and pool (if there is one now) as the current info is spread over many pages as updated and a number of questions were never answered.

hmm, you were in on this project from the start (nearly 2 years ago) but you are still a "newbie"...sounds a little suss.
More than 1-2 peoples personal supply....it was until the last couple of weeks, when someone increased the hash from 10K to 40K, to 700K+ using 10-20 16 core servers....
To me it feels like a disgused way of advertising your PR skills....all the info you need is on Page 1, download wallet, let it sync, and open console type setgenerate true -1, not really too much to grasp there.

If you really want to help this coin, you could help by persueding the high hashers to lower their hash then we all stand an equal chance, otherwise this will be yet another great old coin killed.

i am mining this good old lemon for a few weeks now on 2 comps and i absolutlely find some blocks only using the wallet to mine

networkhashps : 626591

seems that more people are mining at the moment , so there is more interest in this argoncoin2 , most coins already find the asic's coming.

i think it will take some time before asic find lemoncoin (argon2)

Hi,
What is your hashrate please? How many blocks are you finding a day?
Looking at my electricity costs, and lemons price, i need to mine at least 38 blocks a day, just to break even. I'm lucky if i get 2-3 blocks a day with 20Kh/s.
I used to pull 100 blocks a day, every day with a little quad core, so i was making about £5 a day (my hash was around 1.2kh/s)

I am currently working on new version of wallet, main highlight is much improved performance.

I also started working with Bitcoinsfacil, they are going to help me with marketing and management.
We have more news prepared that we will share soon.

great news that the original developer of this coin is back and maybe even greater news that people going to help ,

good to see the hashrate is going down a little , "networkhashps" : 578019 , more coins for  me to mine

but to answer your question , i am mining on 4 old comps now with all 4 between 20-30  kh/s hashrate and they are all finding

between 2-4 blocks a day but they did not cost elecricity so that coins are more then welcome

BUT FOR DEV , GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK

I'm guessing those old pc's are xeons, cos i am only getting 20-30Kh/s on a Ryzen 7 1800X and since i do have to pay for electricity i have to pull minimum of 38 blocks to cover costs, so like i said, unless this coin improves dramatically in value its dead.
Stupid thing is if everyone lowered their hash this can be mined at 1/100th the current hash rate and we can all share. There is simply no need for this high hash rate, smacks of one guy wanting to make sure no one else can mine it.

I might just borrow a 128 core monster for a month
Another old coin bites the dust..so sad

all somehow it is not clear. the project does not even have a website, the team does not answer questions, does not get in touch. I think this project is doomed to failure

Sorry, but are some fooks stuppid or am I grazy?

The Ico is for "Lemmon" a coin which don't excist!!! The Dev. of Lemon..... all of suddenly came back, I guess drunk and in need of some money. Some people thought that the coin would have a future again..... and bought it as an investement on Cryptopia, I was also planning to buy it..... so buy cheap and sell high.

But the only thing I see till now, is an ico for a coin Lemmon.... they Dev of Lemon is in need of money and that's it. Again a dead coin......

This coin is quite interesting, i want to ask about the price of it Smiley

Earlier this year when the hashrate was mineable it peaked at 490 sats, now it's at 44 sats, so 1/10th its value, and unless you have several Amd 32core/64Thread, or similar Intel Servers which you don't pay for the power, then its dead. No pools, no gpu miner.
The explorer doesn't even list the blocks correctly, 1 account has 56% of all coins, so unfortunately i think you are about 6 months to a year too late. 6-12 months ago i was mining 1000 coins a day,(blocks were 20 coins, now 10) now i cant even mine 1 block a day on an OC 1800X.
I also believe there is a private pool in operation, making things rather unfair.
My only suggestion would be to buy not mine, but unless someone comes up with a real good "use" for this coin, i think it will slowly drop to 1 sat over then next 6 months.

I think people may assume that LemonCoin hasn't had much news for a while, but who knows? I just think most traders are waiting for the bull market now.

LemonCoin is alive.

That ICO mentioned does not appear to be the same thing.

Running a very small farm test on Lemon with old PCs.

Dev, Please update when you can to keep momentum. This seems to be one of the few remaining CPU coins and it's worth saving.
Buys and Sells still work on Cryptopia. Looking forward to that wallet update.

In the mean time, for those of you who would like your machine to mine LemonCoin automatically upon boot:

Create file in lemoncoin directory named :

lemoncoin.conf

Edit this file in text editor and add:

gen=-1
genproclimit=-1

(This must be completed with lemon closed. )

Upon opening, LemonCoin Core will automatically begin to mine on all available cores. (The -1 means yes, run, all available.)
Be sure to click 'start with system' in the options.

Onward and Upward.
