Quad Mining Rig, improvable?

Dear Forum Members.

I have chosen the parts for my first quad mining rig (no case) so far. Are there any components that should be replaced to make it better (more Mhash/s, higher cost-effectiveness and/or less power consumption)?

Mobo: MSI 790FX-GD70
GPU: 4x Sapphire HD5850 Xtreme
CPU: AMD Sempron 145 (box)
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1000W
RAM: Kingston ValueRAM DIMM (240-PIN) Kit 2GB PC3-10667U CL9 (DDR3-1333)
HDD: Old Sata (maybe Western Digital WD800JD 80GB Caviar Blue)
Fans: 4x Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000 120x120mm on top of the Radeons or some Scythe Kama PWM 92x92m (not sure about that, maybe there is a better cooling solution)

Use a Corsair PSU instead of Cooler Master. I have a silent pro gold 1200 and i'm not thrilled with it. I can't take it back so I'm stuck with it.

As for the fans, If you're unconcerned about noise I'd go with Delta Electronics fans. There are models that push up to 252 CFM no problem. I have a bunch of the 190CFM ones and they are awesome. everything else is fine.

Where are you getting that mobo?  Some quick searching and I'm finding no results on where it can be purchased (all out of stock).  Know of any other good mobos for 3/4 card mining?

Use a Corsair PSU instead of Cooler Master. I have a silent pro gold 1200 and i'm not thrilled with it. I can't take it back so I'm stuck with it.

The problem is, the Corsair PSU's only come with 6 PCI-E connections. I need 8 of them for the 4 Radeons. Also the Corsair HX 1000W ist 5% less efficient compared to the Cooler Master.

Those are strong, i like that, but way too expensive! I live in germany, the cheapest Delta Electronics 120x120mm fan i could find was 45$.

The cards each come with old-skool 4pin to PCI-E connections, so dont worry. All you gotta do is use 2 adapters on the (4th) card, no big deal!

From german online computer hardware stores, most of them are only shipping to germany.

There are only a few other boards suitable, but i prefer the MSI, because of the great layout (enough space between the PCI-E slots, so there ist better airflow):

Well, i would have to buy two adapters first, one for each rail? Why do people prefer Corsair PSU's? Their energy efficiency for the 1000+ Watt models is lower than 90%.

Are you sure you will be able to cool the middle 2 cards? They will be body-to-body. How the air will get to the fan?

I know, there will be not much space between them, because those cards have got a width of ~4cm.

I'll stick some carton between the cards, so the airflow can reach the gpu fans. First idea:
###F### , where F ist the fan, side view, and ### is the plastic cover, which is spaced by carton. Of course there should be no carton on the fan itself (would block the airflow).

Carton begins to glow at 180°C, so it cannot ignite, because i always keep the temperature below 75°C. Above 85°C is critical and 115°C is overkill.

If this kind of setup isn't cool enough or doesn't work, i will have to buy some (expensive) PCIe Riser cables.

Maybe some some small metal plates, made of aluminuim or copper, could be an alternative to the cardboard.
