With Ether  price skyrocketing due to DAO creation does anyone know or understands if there are better options or strategies  creatingg DAO tokens using other crypto currencies? I guess what ever you use for it would be pegged to the current Ether price what pisses me of as it is pre meditated 

I guess that the solution may be creating a fork of Ether for the DAO.

not only wallet, u can buy with BTC via Gatecoin and Shapeshift or with USD, EUR,CHF via bittrrex and gate coin

but recommend use ETH to buy DAO.

You're assuming those 1,4 million Ethers can all be sold for 0.02 BTC. That's obviously not the case, as this would crash all markets.
