Hey all,

Was just doing a check up on all my wallets and noticed the Freicoin wallet is constantly saying the wallet is out of sync??

yet it has the last block being detected as being 15691 and was in the last hour.... is this just because the blocks are being generated much slower? or is there a problem with the network?

I even downloaded freicoin on a new comp and got to the same point and same situation...

anyone shed any light on this?

I had the same problem, except my wallet never got in sync and I gave up. I assumed there weren't enough nodes or I wasn't finding any for some reason.

more or less retired.

Yeah, same here. Never syncs, says last block 14 hrs ago

"blocks" : 16028,
"connections" : 7

I've tried everything and it's the same thing. I'm giving up.

That IS the last block, but the client thinks there's something wrong because the time between blocks is so long at the moment. If you wanna help, start mining.

that's what I was going to do, but from everything I read, I was supposed to wait until it synced.
I'm new to this, and I only have an older laptop so I have to use cpuminer. I'm just having issues setting it up even after reading the tutorials...I'll keep trying

EDIT: I think I have it, slow..but running

{
"blocks" : 16028,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 9771.97837602,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : true,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 91064,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false
}

Your client is working properly. You can also mine on coinotron.com, using the instructions found there.

You don't actually have to be running the client to mine. Because you are running a cpu miner, using one of the above pool is a better option.

I have v0.7.2.0-unk-beta, maybe you should try to find a newer version if that helps.
