But you are correct in that there seems to be a lot of interest in this coin. Both the New York Times and Forbes have recently run articles on Ethereum, so interest is definitely building.

CNBC too.

why? because it can.
is a bizarre argument!

Quote
ETHEREUM is gonna be hyped up to bitcoin ATH within the next year.
i really cant agree with that statement mainly because comparing btc and eth is not at all a fair comparison;
when btc came out (& was hyped) it had the monumental force of being the first of its kind in every regard,
eth afaik does have its fair amount of innovation, nevertheless its just another altcoin with a highly btc reliant market.

on the other hand, i'm not saying it wont be hyped, now a days, every tech news outlet you pass by has a few articles mentioning eth;
in other words, its getting a decent amount attention and when people hear about things, they want things, even if they are not entirely sure what exactly it is or it does!

a 100$s, sure, i can see that happening to eth, for all i know, it best be happening 'cus i have my fair share of stake in eth!  Cool
still i don't hope to see that happen anytime soon!

-snip- Im tired from reading all this argues between eth followers and btc followers.
then you probably should stop reading about it. fyi you just participated in the same argument, posting here! so dat.
no offense, though.

p.s.
-snip- the time to get in on eth was a couple of months ago when the hype was begining.
i strongly agree with that!

ETH is still cheap at present. Worth bagging a few when you consider it's great potential.

Today I bought some ETH just in case that all this stories about eth rise are true. I see a lot of talking around internet about this eth, some people say its good, some people say its just for pumping and dumping bitcoin. Honestly all this make me confused. I will try with some small amount and that's it even if I lose it doesn't matter. Time will tell who is right and who is not, Im tired from reading all this argues between eth followers and btc followers.

Not a bad decision. Even if all the fudders are right, you lose a few bucks in the end, so what.

But you are correct in that there seems to be a lot of interest in this coin. Both the New York Times and Forbes have recently run articles on Ethereum, so interest is definitely building.

meh, i don't like small profits that are half assed, the time to get in on eth was a couple of months ago when the hype was begining.

Maybe, but there were people saying that back when Bitcoin first rose into the $15-$20 range as well.

ETH is much better than bitcoin.   It has actual value beyond being a token.  Unlike btc which is pretty much useless for anything beyond being a token.

Ethereum is dfferent from litecoin. litecoin is just a very faithful clone of bitcoin. Ethereum is innovative.

You are implying that some "innovation" is a good or needed or a wanted thing.
As we can see in business that is rare most of the time.

The mother of invention is necessity.

Show me one DAPP that is needed or solves a problem Bitcoin faces or you & your ETH "IPO token" FAILS.

Totally agree.

Could some eth holder please explain one groundbreaking innovation that is needed enough to be worth a billion dollars?

Please don't reply if your just gonna repeat "because (IT)Huh? Is innovative.

What do you mean by "heavy". Is it because the supply of the Etheruem is unlimited? When it becomes PoS, the inflation will be very low.

i can understand why everyone thinks that ETH will reach 100$ and reach the price of BTC,The majority of trading volume comes from Bitcoin to Ether ,with Poloniex controlling the majority market share . but still i dont think the price will reach 100$

The price has broken down the $10 support. It is dropping very fast. Maybe it is good time to buy some?

On the non-logarithm scaled chart, Ethereum broke down through the February pump support, and the next support is from the January support line which currently extends to about 0.0164 BTC ≈ $7:

https://dc-charts.com/chart_eth.php?ex=16&cu=0&tz=6&ar=1

On the logarithm scaled chart, Ethereum broken down through all support lines and there is no support.

Don't ask for trading advice better trust your gut feeling about the current price situation.
