There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

What country are you in, mate? IIRC, you can only use iTunes gift cards bought in the same country.
I have a 20$ aud iTunes gift card (a physical card, with the pin thingy still unscratched) that I got from a friend, but I have no use for it since I don't use apple products.
