You should not use websites to create vanity addresses as that generally means they have the copy of private key of that address and are able to use the BTC in that address any time they want.

Create a vanity address yourself, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=25804.0

You can ask shorena to create one for you . I think for a Vanity address of that length, he will be willing to do it for a small donation

It's really not that hard, if you try and understand it.

1) Download.
2) Extract.
3) Go to the folder and do the following:

To use vanitygen, you need to open a command line window and change to the directory where you extracted the vanitygen program.  An easy way to do this in Windows 7, hold down the shift key, right-click on the folder where you unzipped vanitygen, and select "Open command window here."  Then, you can type the vanitygen command at the prompt.

4) Write the command and your prefix.
5) Wait. You can do that, right?

Done.

particularly at risk of losing money if I or someone else make a custom address bitcoin in bitcoinvanitygen.com, because admins already know the private key. more secure if we ourselves are made.

Wait .How can this be a scam site ,I have got myself two Vanity Addresses from VanityGen for free? I didn't opt for the custom changes like the case or more than 5 characters which would have cost me 0.10 .I simply asked for the free one and they had it delivered to my email in couple of days and asked to import the private key through my blockchain's wallet. They send you the private key, hence they also got your private key, meaning they have full control over whatever amount of bitcoin you deposit into any of those addresses.
The only safe way to create a vanity address is to either create it yourself or to utilize split-creation (as shorena offers it for example).

You can post your part public key here in this thread or place an order of yonder --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1257817.0

1Orayt can be found quicker than it's taken to type this out.
1OraytSDA would take much longer and require a BTC fee (up front)
1OraytSDA666 is in the "forget it - too long to find" category.

If you post your Part Public Key here I'll run you off a handful of 1Orayt to give you an idea what they look like. Vanity Pool - vanity address generator pool https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=84569.0 has some information on why it is safe to post your Part Public Key which others can read, but not access your funds.

I'd highly doubt that, since the uppercase o/O is on the list of invalid characters, hence none of those address prefixes is possible.

Creating ("mining") them yourself is the best option (the tool was already linked above).
If you are unabled to do so, a split generation works just as fine (in case of security, shorena offers that service for example, linked above).
Never, you should utilize any service/method in which the other party at the end has access to the private key of the created vanity address.
