I either got lucky, or made the excellent choice of using bitinstant to transfer my investments to MtGox for some casual testing.

But my real question lies as to when I want to take that money out and turn it back into cash.  (Or at least, numbers in a bank account) I'm assuming that most people are using bank transfers for this, but aren't the fees exorbitant?  Is that really the best option?

-Cheers, and advice is always appreciated

Yes.. the fee's are ridiculous..

But, surely there nothing stopping you selling bitcoins without a third party, ie, directly to a buyer, for cash (digits).. and not paying any fee's ?

I love bitcoins - everything about them.

FastCash4Bitcoin only charges $20 for a bank wire (and $0 for an ACH).
