Hey everyone.

Before you start yelling, "NO MORE SHITCOINS!"
There is a reason why I make this thread.

I want to make my own coin.
I want to me it, myself.

So there will be no empty promise's of features since I know what I will be able to do.
This is not just a "ohh, I got a basic coin together, lets launch" kinda of coin.

I want to do a little research and see how good I can make it.

My biggest issue at the moment is the software to create the coin.
What software?
What despences, and how to install them?

Stuff like that.

Would really be nice of someone could help.

Thank you!

Yes, Ethereum makes it super simple to create your own shitcoin.

I do want my own coin.. With my own specs and setup.
And not just use a token system from ETH.

Creating Ethereum tokens would make a good school project for the IT class.

I hope not to see any on the crypto exchanges but I guess there's always people on this forum ready to throw money at anything, so I expect a few will get through.

I would say that you shouldn't start with making altcoins in the very beginning but if you are so interested then take a look at the coding of variety of altcoins and do some reverse engineering or test different stuff which you would want to see in you coin. You can find something or the other on Git.

As a relatively new member i don't have urges in creating new coins and i don't know what are your motives.
This is job for someone with much more experience.
Only if you have great desire to learn new skills but yet i think this is far too complicated than you expecting.

I am also thinking of creating my own coin in the future but since the altcoins is to saturated and new coins without good features or road map are only shitcoins I think there is no need to do that, unless you just want to scam people by offering ICO from the coin you are going to create..

Why do you need to create your own coin???

We are already loaded with every kind of shitcoins around. Why do you think that your coin can make a difference?

Please concentrate on earning existing altcoins if you want, but please don't bring another shitcoin.

You can launch your own currency on NXT.

They have a 'Monetary System' that allows you to define all the parameters you want for your coin and then simply click launch.

You won't have to bother about having your coin secured against 51% attack as NXT does that for you.

I think it costs 1000 NXT, which is $7 or so.

NXT 2.0 is also in the works which will allow you to not need NXT coin anymore as currently on the Monetary System you need to send your coin but also nxt coin to the people as they need it to pay for every transaction.

However with NXT 2.0 your coinholders will be able to pay transaction fees also in your own coin. You will also be able to fork NXT and not just have your own coin, but also your own alias system, or market place, or asset exchange, or voting system, etc.

Thanks for your post. You don't hear much about Nxt around here and I was unaware of its capabilities.

Very welcome. Yeah ethereum takes all the attention currently but you can do a lot with Nxt.

I was wrong about price to launch your own currency on the NXT Monetary System, it's not 1000 Nxt, that's to launch your own asset.

It depends how many letters your currency code has:

3 Letters - 25000 NXT
4 Letters - 1000 NXT
5 Letters - 40 NXT

1 NXT is currently worth $0.01, so

$250
$10
$4

Re-issuing an existing currency with different properties costs 40 NXT regardless of the number of the currency code length. All other currency transactions (as of today) has a fee of 1 NXT.

How ?
Learn idiot.
Duh ?
Try getting off your lazy little ass and using the forum search function or even Google.
Like seriously what the Fuck buddy ?
Even an idiot would have enough common sense to guess that question has been posted here 1,000x before.

hmmm dumb ass would it require skill wise ?
knitting skills ?
good at painting water colors ?
master at wiping your ass and open mouth breathing and surfing Youtube ?

want someone to hold your hand and do all your work for you so you can get the credit / rewards etc ?
why should anyone want to pander to idiot shit coin cloner #1,001 ?

Is your name David Latapie and you want some dev to make you HYP coin v2.0 (to spam / hype on Poloniex ?)
Sadly there is prob 100 dev's here who justify their needing work..
so they will be more than happy to slop together any code you want
with any fancy snazzy icon for a BTC or two..

I don't mind so much that your wanting to make another shit coin
as i do the pathetic flop on your back kidiot laziness part of it..
why am i capable of making a coin but haven't and wouldn't for a dick head noob ?
because i have integrity.
Why can i ?
because i am a boss ..i run the internet ....It's mine !
I know everything and am the best because i worked my fucking ass off !
I can learn 10x more than any idiot waiting for handouts.
Why post on the web a dumb question when you can answer it yourself in less time it takes to type out the question ?
and this is coming from the internets most lazy asshole.. ME ! hahahha

Get off my internet idiots.
Google use it or fuck off.

FUD first & ask questions later™
