Let me ask you guys..
Would you have known about Ethereum if it was NOT super PUMPED by some Rich guys etc ?
Think about it & what that means..

Probably not, but then again how many would have known about Bitcoin back in 2013 if it wasn't pumped to $270 by (I believe) the Winklevoss twins. That brought in a lot more people that helped to push it to $1,200 later the same year.

And a lot of people lost money because of the pump.

Bitcoin only survived because it actually has real world utility.

How will Ethereum help you in the real world?

How will Ethereum help people you know in the real world?

You guys do realise that ETH is going through EXACTLY the same process BTC went through before it became #1? It went up, it went down, it had its supporters and its detractors then, BOOM, suddenly it's $1000.

Alice  you mean,as a store of value?Because as a payment system it pretty much failed. And you do realise that value is backed up by nothing, but users beliefs, right ?Ethereum is backed up by dapps and smart contracts. No one knows if eth will succeed, but bitcoin will eventually fail, first mover advantage wont hold  medium-long term without innovation.

You guys are delusional, even if ethereum's dev's team deliver half they promise, eth will surpass bitcoin. Why?Well, even if bitcoin is considered a "store of value" its value is made of what people  believe it worths, because it is backed by nothing.Ethereum, even tho doesnt aim to be a store of value or payment system,it will be much better at both because it will be backed by its usage/smart contracts/dapps etc.

Time will tell!

Erm look at the BTC graph and dig through the old BTC forum threads? Seriously, you can't even think to do this as basic research???

so you are also saying that ETH will need to drop down to sub $2 if it is to follow EXACTLY the same pathway as BTC?

If you are saying this then you can wrap up your campaign for now.

The United States will eventually fail too. That doesn't mean I'm moving to North Korea.

Straw man. I said it's going through exactly the same PROCESS. I didn't say it was plotting the EXACT same graph. As you well know.

And you didn't say my dog ran to the door and ran back and ran to door gain thus meaning he will break down the door and catapult outside. We can see patterns in anything, even clouds. That doesn't make them meaningful.

Ethereum is delusional crap that doesn't work and there will be no utility to sustain it.

Bitcoin has utility. I've never invested in Bitcoin, but I have used it quite much.

I also think it is possilble for the bitcoin price to be $1000. But it will take a decade or two to reach that level.

Just some small bumps in the road. ETH will dominate in the long run.

The "process" is described by the price chart. So you are saying that ETH's price will not drop to sub $2?

I see many members comparing ETHER future with BTC past.
They think it will fall to 2$ and will jump to 400$ ?
Are you crazy do you even know how much money is needed for this pump?

Just some small bumps in the road. ETH will dominate in the long run.

You know what's funny about the current pullback? ETH itself hasn't fallen that much - it's just below 0.03 as I write this - but Bitshares, Factom and the most popular ETH clone Expanse have all been hit hard. Of those big four leapers, only Etherium can be still said to be in a wide trading range.

So the doomers were right about the market "air", but not-so-right about which alts would get hammered.

I'm biased about this, but I'm using the pullback as an opportunity to buy more FCT.

Just a small correction and many people are panicking. In a way it is go as it shakes out all the weak holders. A few weeks later, all these people will be in ETH and screaming to the moon.

We'll yeah I'm screaming to the moon, I wish I bought ETH since the start but No way I'm gong to buy ETH now that the pump is almost there. if they'd go back to 0.001 btc which will likely happen then maybe i will. but now, its all yours, enjoy it.  Grin
