If the big ETH whales sell the ETC, the ETC price will go to almost zero. So the chain will die eventually.

Hopefully that would not happen because that would affect all the altcoins, we know that ETH is gaining the success currently and new coins is also starting to have that success so if anything happen, it would probably create a panic in the crypto world for altcoins.

Yes, that is why Vitalik asked Ethereum classic to fork to fix this issue but they are refusing. Sloppy indeed as they didnt even account for the possibility of 2 coins surviving.

Now that attitude will create a movement that matters. I know you will not be the only one. The hash rate is increasing and I speculate that those miners are pointing their power to the original Ethereum classic for the same reasons as yours. But having some extra coins would be nice also.

The FUD is real lol. ETC is vulnerable. Also poloniex will split for you if you send your ether there, so send ether there, dump your ETC, then to be 200% sure withdraw ETH to a new adress.

For the past 30 days I checked the ETH price graph and It's dumped hard from 0.028BTC the highest to 0.0124BTC the lowest which is more than the half. ETH is trying to recover and I think more investors will join ETH.

The price is around 0.018 now. I think it could rise to new all time high if the community and companies support it.

If you can catch the thief before the hard fork, there is no need to do the hard fork. It is unfortunate.

Ethereum is damaged either way fork or no fork. It is very unfortunate, yes. Even if they catch the "thief" how can they charge him as a "thief"? If Vitalik files a case on him what is Vitalik's argument? How did the "thief" "steal" all that ETH?

Hell Naw. You can't make the same profits in BTC that you can in the ETHEREUM asset family because the volatility just isn't there.  If you were day trading BTC, now you are day trading ETH/ETC instead, and it's on every damn exchange now so all you have to do is click a sifferent trading pair.

For now, you cannot really trust ETH to make a long term investment, it should only be treated a short term investment and the trend is just normal when the price decreases that much in the following few days price will be back to normal. Easy to make money if that trend will happen all the time.
