I love Bitcoin and it is a revolutionary technology in my opinion, but that dosnt mean that it will be the only crypto to come out of this whole crypto revolution as a winner.  Below is a post i just made on another thread, i feel it needs debate ........ we are in uncharted territory, yes or No ?

Mate no harm but nobody in cryptoland has a clue WTF is going on...... i watched a video of some off the best and brightest in Bitcoin in 2014 saying that Bitcoin would be worth $10,000 in 2015....... WTF  Undecided  We are in uncharted territory anything is possible, wise up

Of course we're in uncharted territory,  crypto is only 7 years old and the altcoin scene is even more recent.   I too believe that there will be multiple winners.   Bitcoin is one but it's not clear who else is going to succeed.   Time will tell.

BTC bag hodlers suffer from tunnel vision. They can see no other than BTC and its failed payment system. The community and dev quarrels and indecisiveness killed it.

And from your signature we can see you are ETH supporter and this FUD have nothing to do with Bitcoin , you just trying to promote this declining star. Beware this is Bitcointalk and this can be considered as spam.

True. It's actually pretty impressive that BTC ever got to over 10b mc. Alts will eventually (I bet more quikly than people think) replace BTC it's just a natural evolution of things.

This is really hard for me to understand.
Bitcoin is first and have biggest network of coders that are involved in evolution of bitcoin.
No doubt there will be always very good coins -alts but they never gonna shine like btc.

Sorry, what is the question? It is obviously uncharted territory as Crypto is now, but do you mean to ask if the new Alts are game changers?
It will be interesting to see if Bitcoin become the Betamax of the crypto world, or digital gold, or remains the gold standard!

At the moment all we can really say is that ETH is far bigger than any alts have been before and 'could' challenge bitcoin at some point.

Interesting times ahead

Of course we are on uncharted territory. What we see here is the evolution of future payment systems, and evolution is always "uncharted" otherwise it wouldn't be evolution but repetition Smiley.

Nonsense. This is the alt coin section so all alt coins can be discussed.

I think he's right. I guess the first little ugly things in the proterozoic seas also believed that they are the top of the evolution - and by that time probably they were right - some of those even made it almost unchanged to this day but nowadays everybody believe that Einstein is smarter the CIA is more stealthy and Shakira looks better then any of those things Smiley.

This was in Bitcoin section but it is moved to Altcoins because topics such as this belong to alts.
Probably moderator saw this and reacted. I'm not crazy. Wink  ETH members have more then 15 topics about ETH..

Apologies I didn't realise it had been moved.
