Yeah nothing will replace bitcoin especially now it's getting more popular and more progressive. Etherum is just a follower of btc. Let me correct the topic title guys, I just noticed it should be "ETHEREUM", not "ETHERUM".

Ethereum will not be the number one currency. I will main use it to make smart contract. I will use bitcoin to buy things.

Yes first alt crypto currency but not after Lisk, in my opinion Etherium is far more superior than Lisk and there have a post here on altcoin discussion that Lisk is just a hype coin and they have people to hype the  coin glad that I did not invest here..

It is too fast for ethereum become first crypto currency, due to ethereum is new coin and bitcoin too. Ethereum will be tested for first time by supply and demand.

Nah, there's no way Eth would beat bitcoin. Bitcoin has like 7 years ahead of Eth.

Smart contract will help ETH to be the first, i can see DAO first use ETH for funding. Later ETH will be used by different projects in the future and thats just the start where it will surpass bitcoin's achievement.

I suppose it is possible but I can not imagine if ETH beat bitcoin in this regard. I think if ETH developed for the better, then bitcoin developed better than eth. I guess no one can beat bitcoin in this case

Bitcoin and Ethereum are very different. So, I do not think that is even possible to compare them in a right way. Bitcoin is more than Gold. Ethereum however or more the gas or oil which you are use to boost something.

Nope. But Ethereum being one of the prominent altcoins on the long term (though ETH technically isn't a coin) is a real possibility. The new 'silver', as Litecoin once was ... !

Litecoin is still the silver and will probably be for a long long time, sorry to break it to you.

Totally agree with you.
Bitcointalk members are always trying to compare different things and betting which one will prevail at the end...
in my opinion they both will grow with time and both will have more value along the years.

The market cap of litecoin has been lower than Ethereum for more than two months, why do you say so?

I feel bad you have to ask that question.  The ethereum paradox is a pandemic for get rich quickers and pump n dumpers who flood the economy with a junk coin that absolutely has no use right now.  Rootstock on the bitcoin blockchain will dominate and ethereum will fade in the dark with all the others.  Wake up people.
