I have been using C-cex from quite a long time and I can say it is trusted. C-cex admin is also very active in this forum and you can get your problems resolved very fast.
Also yobit is good. But I have just started using that, not yet requested a withdrawal, so can't say. But C-cex is good and I am happy with their service.

I'm going to list few exchanges that I've tested and few that might be an alternative to you. Personally I discovered "changelly" this week and had good experience using it, very nice design and took less than 30 minutes for everything to finish. There's also "shapeshift" which I had different experience with (sometimes works good and sometimes has glitches), but overall acceptable. Both tested: https://changelly.com/ https://shapeshift.io/Some alternatives: (haven't tested these yet, so take caution) https://bter.com/https://bittrex.com/https://askcoin.net/

So far, I've only used yobit, c-cex and Poloniex (and I have had good experiences with these exchanges), though I've heard of many others like cryptopia and bter. I'm also interested in knowing if those exchanges are trusted or not.

Yobit is even running a signature campaign from quite some time now, so yeah it should be trusted, at least until now.

How does running a signature campaign make a currency exchange any more or less trustworthy? That's like saying a restaurant must have good food because they pay people to walk the streets handing out fliers.

I'd go for c-cex, bluetrade, poloniex or bit-x. I haven't traded for a while, but those used to be the most trustworthy in my book.
Offcourse, you'll have to do your research beforehand.

I only used Yobit and its really working good, also the fact the have a lot of possibilities to exchange and trade. Bit-x is also pretty good but I used Yobit often because I like it more, also the dashboard is very handy and easy if I'm honest.

I'm defenately not saying Poloniex is the best exchange out there, but there's little you can do against a DDOS. Normally, a Ddos isn't a "dangerous" attack, it's just very annoying since the service might not respond during the attack itself. Normally, no funds get lost during a Ddos, altough the exchange might take wallets offline untill everything is resolved. I wouldn't write off poloniex because they were DDos'ed (but that's just my personal opinion)

Try kraken , it is one of top Exchange , yobit is also good but not as famous as kraken. C-cex is another popular one but it has a lot of other similar name phishing , so visit with care.

That has nothing to do with the signature campaign you mentioned in your first post.
Poloniex is the way to go with exchanges. AFAIK, they haven't encountered many problems in the past that mark them as suspicious.

i prefer using bittrex out of all the exchangers out there. it has been always fast and up for me and the daily volume is high enough for trading.
besides they don't ask for personal information to trade.

I have only traded altcoin in poloneix and bitcoin in bitfinex. I found them enough per my need. I don't have experience with others or even i don't need alternatives till now.

I am trading with yobit.net site for quite long time , and till date their is not so problem, they also give you freecoins every day according to the coin and time, so if you are new you can join and first gain some freecoin and start doing trading and learn from the free coins, some days back only started to use c-cex but it will take time to understand that exchange so i cannot recommend anything about that site.
