I got very interested when i found out you could mine on ps3's. so i guess im wondering if theres a guide for this? any step by steps? Im not completely unfamiliar with linux i just dont know where the files i need are. Anyone willing to help or guide me in the right direction would get free logos of there choice. Ill made some for everyone really Smiley

I feel like this is the future so i dont mind putting my part in to "get in"  Wink

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. Server-assisted clients like blockchain.info rely on centralized servers to do their network verification for them. Although the server can't steal the client's bitcoins directly, it can easily execute double-spending-style attacks against the client.

There's not really a guide at the moment, but you'll find most of what you need in this thread.

The mining code itself can be found on GitHub.

Possibly off-topic, but don't update the firmware on those. Sony will disable Other OS, Certain TVs not using HDCP, and PS2 backward compatibility.

dude, ebay two of them and buy a graphics card.

I'm an ex-miner. I still love bitcoins, but I've decided it's too expensive to mine for me. Lowered the difficulty a bit for the rest of you Wink

Eat FibreOne bars. they are made of pure deliciousness
