Hey all,

I recently created a brand new website that allows registered players to play in a daily lottery. The website itself tracks user progress through points from completing offers and surveys (so if you're into that sort of thing, then great, we have something else for you to do too!). But on top of that, we also offer a daily lottery.

The lottery is incredibly simple. All you do is send 0.10 to the bitcoin address listed on our lottery page and once it's been confirmed, it acts as your entry into the lottery. You can send 0.50 (for five entries) or even 1.0 (for ten entries). At the end of the day, if the balance of the lottery is higher than 1.0, the drawing will be held the following day and one of the random entries will be chosen from the pool and the winner receives the bitcoin balance of the wallet (minus out 10% fee).

If the balance for the day doesn't meet 1.0 bitcoins, the balance will be carried forward to the following day where the pool continues to grow larger. Once the balance reaches 1.0, the drawing is held the following day, so the bitcoins are never lost in the cloud. I know I don't have much of a reputation here yet, but I'm not in this for a quick buck. I've been a part of a ton of different online projects and this is my first bitcoin venture, but I want to be around for the long haul and actually create a service that is used widely and trusted online by many bitcoin enthusiasts.

If you're interested in checking us out, head to http://bbitco.in.

I'm also open to any and all criticism and suggestions you have to offer.

Take care and I hope to see you there!

There's already a well known lottery that do exactly the same your lottery is doing. The differences are that the draw of the other lottery occurs every month and the house fee is only 1%. So what do you have to offer that will bring players to your lottery?

I have zero problems lowering my fee for the lottery if that's what it's going to take to stay competitive.

At the moment, with bbitco.in being as new as it is, I can't say that we offer our reputation above all else, because there haven't been any lottery drawings yet. But as time passes, I'll be willing to stake my entire online reputation on the fact that I will offer faster lottery payouts and a fair price to all of my players. If the lottery grows to the size of hundreds of people playing daily, it may not be doable for me to offer a daily drawing, maybe more along the lines of every 2 or 3 days. However, I will do everything in my power to offer quick payouts, quick drawings, and more than a fair share of the pie to the winner.

If anyone has any suggestions on how they'd like to see a lottery run, please do let me know. I'm not in this to dictate how things should be run. Yes, I did build the website. But the members are the ones who are going to eventually keep it running. Without members, the website is useless.
